Stories

In their own words.

Families have written to us over the years about what help meant. We keep their privacy first, and share their words only when they tell us they’d like to.

Since 1991

Every family has a story.

What families tell us most often is that they didn’t know where to turn. Financial support allowed them to focus on what mattered most: their child.

Since 1991, HCCF has stood beside Hawaiʻi families through childhood cancer. In the past year alone, we gave direct financial assistance to 160+ families statewide. Many have written to tell us what that help meant, and we share a family’s words only with their permission.
